When Lisa and Brian purchased Axes & Aces in June of 2023, Lisa already had a vision for a coffee shop in the front room. Time and resource priorities became the restaurant and activities, so the coffee shop took a backseat. 3 years after opening our doors, Lisa and Brian are ready to tackle the next adventure.
While Lisa assists with the restaurant and is the one behind the dream of the coffee shop, being a police officer is her first love. Lisa loves dedicating her life in service to North Platte. Lisa wanted the coffee shop to carry on her law enforcement profession and provide a service to the southern area of North Platte, Lincoln County, and the Lake Maloney area.
As most know, law enforcement communicates via 10 codes. The 10 code for “starting your shift” is 10-41. 10-41 Coffee seemed like the perfect name as a great place to “Start your day.”
